Wednesday Video: Looking Back At The 2009 AMA Superbike Season, And Sorting Out The GSX-R1000K9

A few races into last year’s AMA Superbike season, Chris Ulrich and his Roadracingworld.com crew had started running the late-arriving 2009 Suzuki GSX-R1000 but struggled with handling. Like other teams that switched to the new model after the season had started, Ulrich and his mechanics had to quickly figure out the set-up and make progress, and they got it at Road America. Chassis and suspension parts that may be perfect for street riding often need to be changed out for racing applications, and we’re not talking about removing the headlight.
