March 22, 2010 – Toledo, OH – Honda East Yamaha Suzuki of Toledo is proud to announce two new partnerships to the dealership’s race team. Global leaders Oakley and Monster Energy will be supporting riders Eddie Kraft and Jeff Wrobel in the 2010 WERA and AMA season. These new developments come during a time of economic difficulty, but a time where the possibilities for growth within the industry have significant potential.

Backed by the Toledo-based dealership, Kraft and Wrobel will be contesting the full WERA North Central series, along with additional WERA National and AMA rounds aboard matching 2010 Yamaha R6’s. The duo are looking to build on their previous successes and continue their progress for 2010. Kraft and Wrobel’s 2009 campaign entailed running at the front which culminated into race wins and securing seven WERA Championships between the two of them.

Joe Green from Oakley says, “We at Oakley are extremely excited to be partnering up with a team that’s as professional and prolific on and off the track as Eddie and Jeff are. They clearly represent the image we want to be associated with and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of what they’re doing. We are certainly looking forward to working with them and building upon this relationship.”

Tom Beagle of Honda East comments, “This is a big step forward with our race team and I’m extremely pleased to have two companies of this caliber on board with us. The success of our team has and continues to attract significant partners such as Oakley and Monster. We have been a retail partner with Oakley for many years and to have Joe Green show a desire to assist in our efforts to expand is very gratifying.”

Beagle continues, “Both the Oakley and Monster names speak for themselves and I couldn’t be happier. With two riders having the potential of Eddie and Jeff, we are strategically pursuing opportunities to take our race team to the next level and this is a great step in that direction.”
