RM Racing is pleased to officially announce their partnership with Melissa Paris and MPH Racing for the 2010 AMA Sportbike season. “I’m excited to start working with Melissa this year. She has very strong competitive spirit and looks to improve greatly in her second season of professional racing,” says Rick Matheny, “It’s a challenge having the longest and toughest race of the year at the beginning of the season, but I know we’re up to it and we plan on putting her as close to the front as possible in each race this year.” For their first event of the season together, Melissa will be competing in the Daytona 200 with support from Royal Purple, GYTR and Barbara Conner Jewelry. She will be piloting a Yamaha R6 throughout 2010 and, as a privateer, her racing efforts would not be possible without the hard work and support of sponsors like Motion Pro, Leo Vince exhausts and the engine work of Millenium Technologies. Staring down her first full AMA season, Melissa is going into the year optimistically, “Last year was kind of a learning experience for me and this year I expect improved results,” she says, “I’ve had to race against bikes built by RM Racing before and I’m excited to have him with us this year.” In addition to the AMA Sportbike series, Melissa also expects to compete in select WERA National Challenge Series events as time permits. RM Racing would also like to thank Melissa’s sponsors, Vesrah Brakes, Spiegler, Factory BW, Ballistic Batteries, Zero Gravity, GB Racing, Concept 5, XT Racing and Dynojet, without whom Melissa’s 2010 racing efforts would not be possible.
