Team Planning To Contest ASRA Team Challenge Championship On BMW S1000 RR

In the 2009 ASRA Team Challenge series, two teams and two riders were determined to dominate and bring home both of their class championships as well as the overall championship, and that they did . The #427 Grease Monkey Racing team of Eric Helmbach and Alex Shaw lead their team to the GTL class championship and an impressive 4th overall aboard their Suzuki SV 650. Shaw and Helmbach were also the pilots for the Chester Auto Repair GTU team, who rode there #568 Kawasaki ZX-6 to a GTU class championship as well as the overall championship in 2009. Both Helmbach and Shaw will return to the ASRA Team Challenge series in 2010 determined to defend their titles. Once again the #427 Grease Monkey Racing team will look to contend in the GTL class, and the newly crowned #1 team of Chester Auto Repair will be shifting their efforts from the GTU class to the GTO class. The team is very excited to announce that they will contend this class and the overall championship with the help of BMW of Manhattan aboard the new BMW S1000RR.
