Valentine’s Track Day At Buttonwillow Raceway A Big Hit With The Ladies…

The Track Club is pleased to announce that in our 16 year history of promoting track days, this Valentine’s Day track event proved to encourage the largest female attendance in Track Club history! There were a total of 43 ladies riding on track Sunday-February 14th 2010 at Buttonwillow Raceway, approximately 75% of them it was their First Day Ever! ! Of that group of lady riders, 3 were Track Club Control Riders, we would like to thank Heidi Sobranes, Krystyna Kubran, and Gina Rossi for serving the needs of all the riders, but paying extra attention and lending their time & support to all the female attendees! And a shout goes out to Elena Myers for offering up her assistance as well! We would be remiss in not mentioning the “Most Enthusiastic Award” for this event easily goes out to Lillian Schleif, she was not only instrumental in getting the word out to many of the female riders in Southern California, she was a cheer Leader in the paddock for both of these track days! Based on the overwhelming response The Track Club has validated that the female track market has really been a fairly unsupported market segment that we plan on continuing to develop in here in 2010 ! Ps. Side bar comment while there were actually very few incidence at this two day track event, there were no problems experienced on the track by any of the ladies….Go Ladies!
