PIRELLI/WERA WEST RACE PRESENTED BY LUCAS OIL ON THE LAS VEGAS CLASSIC COURSE SUFFERS A TRAGEDY ON SUNDAY THE 31ST. It is with a heavy heart that we have to pass on the news that WERA racer, Joe Pusateri, age 43, from Salinas, California succumbed to injuries sustained in a single motorcycle incident in Turn 4 during race #10, C Superbike Novice, on Sunday at the Classic Course in Las Vegas Nevada. Joe had won his first race on Saturday in the Mediumweight Novice Solo and had successfully competed in his first race of four on that Sunday.
