Red Flag Fund Holds Board re-election, 2010 to Focus on PR and Rider Awareness The Red Flag Fund held its annual board meeting December 2009 and voted to unanimously re-elect Don Elfstrom (of CSBR) and Alexa Krueger (of Spyder Leatherworks) to continue on the board of directors. During the meeting, the future of the fund was discussed and it was decided that there will be some changes to the current logo. Also discussed and approved was a program to recruit members of the racing industry to create awareness of the Fund. This program will develop partnerships with racers, teams and others within the industry to represent the fund at various racing events throughout 2010. These partners will speak at rider meetings and have fliers and materials available in the paddock. If you are interested in assisting the Red Flag Fund in any capacity, email [email protected] for more information. The Fund has also set the date for the 2010 Red Flag Fund Annual Auction. Mark your calendar for August 21st, 2010 at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in South Beloit, IL, the weekend of the CCS MW regional event. The bulk of our annual donations are raised at the auction and go toward helping seriously injured roadracers. For more information on the mission of the Fund or how you can help or donate visit www.redflagfund.org The Red Flag Fund is a 501(c)(3) federal tax-exempt non-profit charity.
