Brea, Calif. – December 15, 2009 – Rockstar Makita Suzuki’s Blake Young will be talking about the upcoming AMA Superbike season on Pit Pass Radio today, December 15th, at 7:05 p.m. Central time. The 2010 season will be Young’s second year racing in the premiere Superbike class for Team Rockstar Makita Suzuki, and after his impressive 2009 rookie season, this year promises to be an exciting one for the 22-year-old Wisconsin native. With his Suzuki GSX-R1000 Superbike and the support of legendary crew chief Peter Doyle and the rest of the Rockstar Makita Suzuki team, Young will have a lot to talk about on Pit Pass Radio. Young’s racing experience began when he was just four years old, at a dirt track near his home in Madison, Wisconsin. At the age of 14, Young made the switch to road racing, and by the age of 16 had become an AMA Pro road racer. Young has raced in the Supersport, Superstock, and Formula Xtreme classes, but it was always his dream to race in the Pro American Superbike series. He got his chance last season, where he proved his formidable racing skills with four podium finishes, three of which were second place, and by placing sixth overall, despite missing a race after an injury suffered during the Birmingham, Alabama round of the series.
