Fastrack’s 2009 Track Season is completed and the new 2010 schedule has just been posted on our website. It was a challenging year to say the least but ended on a positive note at Auto Club Speedway with two sold out days. The weather had it challenges each day but only one twenty minute riding session was missed over two days! Chris Ulrich from RoadRacing World Magazine was in attendance doing Two Up Rides for the RoadRacing World Action Fund which raises money for soft barriers to be deployed at race tracks. Several sections of Air Fence were added at Auto Club Speedway in early 2009 as a result of Chris’ efforts in the past. His best Two Up lap time was a 1:34 which is very impressive to say the least! Over the two day event Chris did 180 laps and raised $3,270 which Fastrack Riders will match so a total of $6,540 was raised! Awesome job Chris Ulrich! He and the RoadRacing World crew did an excellent job processing all the riders! Fastrack Riders will not have a booth at the International Motorcycle Show this year. Fastrack will have a “Show Special” through the 10th of December, 2009. There is a Ten Pack and a Five Pack special for Auto Club Speedway. The year was a challenging year for just about every business no matter the product or services they sell. This year most riders had significantly less disposable income so either they had to quit track riding all together or cut back the amount of track days they could do in a given time period. This is probably not going to change any time soon so Fastrack Riders has reduced prices (track rental rates and insurance rates continue to rise) and also reduced the number of events they will do in 2010. We truly thank each of you for your support over the years but especially this year! WE SURVIVED! The staff at Fastrack Riders wishes all of you the Happiest of Holiday Season and our hope is 2010 will be a better year for all of us!
