Motorcycling Australia Now Accepting Applications For Rider Grants For International Competition

Motorcycling Australia (MA) has opened applications for individual riders to apply for financial assistance, up to $5,000, to compete in international competition/s in 2010. Grant applications are now open to riders interested for events from 1 January 2010 until 30 June 2010, and forms are available from the Grants page of the MA website at www.ma.org.au/grants. Applications close on Friday 4 December 2009 and completed forms should be sent by mail, fax or email to: Andrew Weiss Motorcycling Australia PO Box 134 South Melbourne VIC 3205 [email protected] Fax: 03 9684 0555 Applications will be assessed on criteria contained under the General Selection Policy found in Chapter 29 of MA’s 2009 Manual of Motorcycle Sport. Results obtained in International meetings, Australian Championships and National level events will be taken into consideration when granting financial assistance. In order to compete in international competitions, riders must hold a current FIM license and insurance to the appropriate FIM standard. A second round of offers will be opened in March 2010 for international events to be held the period of 1 July 2010 to 31 December 2010.
