Pirelli/WERA West regional sponsor Lucas Oil has posted $500.00 in cash awards to be given out at the final round in Las Vegas Classic Course on October 31 – November 1, 2009. Names of the top three in each of the classes on Sunday, November 1 will be placed in a hat and five (5) names will be drawn. Those five riders will each receive $100.00 cash from Lucas Oil to help with their weekend’s expenses. Lucas Oil has been a presenting sponsor with the WERA West Series and will continue their support in 2010 with the same type of posted prize for the opening round of the 2010 Pirelli/WERA West Series presented by Lucas Oil. This final round of WERA West will be held on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday November 1. There will not be a practice day on Friday.
