2009 FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix Information from the Race Direction on Engine Durability in MotoGP The penalties for an infringement of article 2.3.6 (Engine durability in MotoGP: a maximum of 5 engines may be used by each rider for the final 7 scheduled races of the season, that is from and including the Czech Grand Prix until the end of the season) are: – The rider will start the race from the back of the grid – The constructor will have 10 points deducted from its championship classification
