Local privateer Dennis Espinosa was able to qualify and make the grid in the first AMA Daytona SportBike event he ever entered, at New Jersey Motorsports Park. What was even more remarkable was that he did it on basically a fresh, showroom stock Ducati 848S that was transformed into a worthy racebike overnight at the track.
