East Troy, Wis. – Buell Motorcycle Company invites fans to the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee on Sept. 24 to celebrate Buell’s first professional AMA road racing championship, which was clinched on Sept. 9 when Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Racing/RMR/GEICO Powersports racer Danny Eslick won the 2009 AMA Pro Racing Daytona SportBike season championship at New Jersey Motorsports Park aboard a Buell 1125R. The celebratory activities are planned during the Museum’s Thursday night Bike Night at Motor, and include the RMR/GEICO Powersports team rig, Eslick’s championship-winning No. 9 Buell 1125R motorcycle, plus Buell’s official AMA Pro Racing Pace and Safety bike display rig and motorcycles. In addition, Erik Buell’s rock band, The Thunderbolts, is expected to perform. The event begins around 5:00 pm. Bike Night at Motor is Milwaukee’s largest weekly motorcycle enthusiast gathering with hundreds of bikes rolling onto the grounds each week. September 24 is the last Bike Night of the season.
