More Senior Staff Changes At NGK Spark Plugs (USA), Inc.

Wixom, MI – NGK Spark Plugs (USA), Inc. announced the promotion of Michael Schwab to the position of Vice President of the Aftermarket Division. Schwab, a 20-year veteran in the aftermarket, has been with NGK since 1989 and previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing for North America. Prior to that, he served as General Manager for NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.). In his new role, Schwab will oversee sales and marketing functions for NGK’s Aftermarket and OES channels. He reports to Hideyuki Koiso, President and CEO for NGK. Schwab has been integral in leading NGK’s aftermarket efforts. He’s been especially involved with expanding NGK’s retail presence, expanding distribution while refining the company’s branding efforts. Under Schwab’s guidance, NGK’s social marketing endeavors have expanded the brand, reaching millions of new consumers. “The Aftermarket industry is an ever evolving marketplace. Schwab, a native of St. Louis, Missouri moved to the Wixom, Michigan headquarters in 2001 as Deputy General Manager.
