Compiled by Alexander Dunstan Note: The 2008 Supersport results were chosen for comparison purposes over 2008 Formula Xtreme because pre-2009 Supersport was generally considered the class with the deepest field and closest competition. Also of note is that pre-2009 Supersport was limited to four brands (Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha) while Daytona SportBike has a much wider selection of OEMs that can compete in the class. Lastly, Daytona SportBike has had 18 races 2009 YTD while pre-2009 Supersport had 11 races total in the 2008 season. 2009 Wins, Podiums, Poles and Fastest Laps YTD The stats that matter most.
