Brno, 11 August: French rider Randy De Puniet will be back on his Honda RC212V nr.14 this week end for the race at the 5.403 km Brno Circuit which hosts the eleventh round of the season despite the fracture of the left ankle. The 28-year-old injured during a motocross training session 10 days ago but has started his rehabilitation programme with the Clinica Mobile support. Following a very positive first part of the championship the LCR Honda MotoGP racer has shown his true mettle in Donington GP gaining the third position and aims to continue with the same vein for the following races. De Puniet: “Immediately after the surgery I was discouraged and thought I would have not been able to race in Brno. But thanks to the rehabilitation programme my ankle is improving day by day. I can easily move it and I will be fitted for the race. Brno is one of my favourite race track and the good placements we gained in the first part of the season gave us more incentives to be in the front”.
