Ty brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team and Crew Chief Perry Melneciuc is excited at the new addition. “I think that Ty is a great fit for our team. He has a lot of experience and I know that he will be a great asset,” said Melneciuc. The current and two time AMA Moto-GT National Champion has spent the majority of this year teaching private lessons and performing lead instructor duties at various road racing schools. “I’m really looking forward to working with Perry and the rest of the Paradigm crew. They have proven in 2009 to be a very professional team with the ability to be really competitive on a consistent basis. The Yamaha R6 has proven to be one of the best bikes for the class. I feel really confident, that with the Paradigm crew and R6, we can be very competitive on two circuits that I really enjoy riding,” Howard said. With 7 AMA Sports National titles and 13 overall track records to his name, Howard is aiming for a successful weekend at the historic Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
