Jeff Wood signs on with Higgins Powersports to form Higgins Powersports/ Roadracingworld.com Racing Team After careful review of available contingency and bike competitiveness, Jeff Wood has partnered with Higgins Powersports to run 2009 Kawasaki ZX-6Rs. The team will also run a 2008 Suzuki GSX-R1000 with the support of Roadracingworld.com “We really wanted to ride the most competitive bikes this season, while still having a chance to make enough money to fund the season. With Higgins Powersports and Roadracingworld.com support we should be very competitive this coming season. I would also like to thank John Ulrich for providing a real-deal AMA-level racebike to the team. That bike is the best motorcycle I have ever ridden,” Jeff Wood was quoted as saying. Team Higgins Powersports/Roadracingworld.com will be competing in various races around the country in WERA, CCS, ASRA, LRRS and AMA. With over 20 races scheduled, it should be a busy season! The team will also be supported by longtime sponsors – Dunlop, Maxima, Penske, Dynojet, Leo Vince, Vesrah, Arai, Vanson, Held, TCX, Woodcraft, Street and Comp, SRE, VP, Armour Bodies, Peach Pit Painting and Sprocket Specialists.
