Miller Motorsports Park to be Featured On MTV’s ‘Nitro Circus’ This Week TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (March 19, 2009) “” Seeing motorized competitions taking place at Miller Motorsports Park on television isn’t exactly new, but viewers of MTV’s new hit show “Nitro Circus” will see the track featured in some very unusual competition this Sunday, March 22, at 8:30 pm MDT. “Nitro Circus” is the creation of legendary motorized madman Travis Pastrana, the world-renowned freestyle motocrosser, X-Games legend and rally driver. The show depicts Pastrana and a group of equally daring friends attempting all manner of extreme stunts and getting into all sorts of mischief in a variety of locations. In the episode that was taped at Miller Motorsports Park last November, the Nitro Circus crew arrived with a representative from the Guinness Book of World Records in tow. The plan was to set a number of world records; a staggering variety of wheeled vehicles were used, including cars, motorcycles, BMX bikes, a lawnmower and even a toilet mounted on wheels. Without giving away too much, suffice it to say that a number of unusual records were set. “I guess I’ve become kind of a regular at Miller Motorsports Park,” Pastrana said, “even though they haven’t given me my own personalized parking space yet! It’s an awesome facility, and one of my favorite playgrounds; every time I show up, I have a blast. We had a lot of fun shooting ‘Nitro Circus’ there, nobody had to go to the hospital and I think it’s going to make a great TV show.” “Since the track opened in 2006, we have seen some truly unforgettable competition at Miller Motorsports Park,” said MMP media manager John Gardner. “I think it is safe to say that what Travis and the ‘Nitro Circus’ crew attempted for this episode of their show will go down in the books as certainly the most unique, if not the most insane. We can’t wait to see the finished product when it airs this Sunday.” For tickets or information regarding Miller Motorsports Park, call 435-277-RACE (7223) or visit the track’s website at www.MillerMotorsportsPark.com.
