King Kenny Roberts Tied For Eighth After Two Rounds Of AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am PGA Golf Tournament

KING OF SWING KENNY ROBERT SR. GETS ON THE THROTTLE FOR DAY TWO OF THE AT&T PRO-AM MONTEREY, Calif. The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am PGA Tour golf championship continued today with round two at Pebble Beach for fellow motorsports giants Kenny Roberts SR and Formula One driver Rubens Barrchello. The motorsports duo is paired up with professional tour players Mark Calcavecchia and Richard Johnson. The first round was played at Poppy Hills with team Roberts/Calcavecchia ending up two back from the lead. Friday had the team at Pebble Beach and the duo ended up fourteen under going into the third round on Saturday at Spy Glass. “There are no similarities between racing motorcycles and golf,” said Roberts. “On a race track, you have to be aggressive. The more aggressive you get on the golf course, the worse you do.” About AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am The 2009 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am is scheduled for February 9-15.
