The WERA Motorcycle Roadracing Pirelli Sportsman Series will kick off this coming weekend, February 7/8, at Talladega Gran Prix Raceway in Talladega, Alabama. This is the 2009 Season Opener for the Southeast and Mid-Central Region and brings out many riders who have been off since the Grand National Finals in October of 2008. The action is usually intense as the riders get back up to speed and bring out their new equipment for the 2009 season. Talladega Gran Prix is located on Alabama Hwy #21 between Munford and Talladega, Alabama. Admission for Saturday/Sunday will be $20.00 and then $15.00 on Sunday only.
