AMA Pro Racing has released eligible equipment lists for the 2009 season. See them here: ~http://www.amasuperbike.com/competition.cfm~ No pistons or camshafts have been homologated for American Superbike; after factory teams demanded that racing pistons be allowed, they haven’t homologated any parts. Racing ECUs and add-on fuel injection controllers from Bazzaz Performance and Dynojet are the only ones homologated. Only AIM Sports and Starlane data acquisition systems are listed. Only M4 exhaust systems are eligible for use in all three classes listed, American Superbike, Daytona Sportbike and SuperSport. Taylor Made exhaust systems for GSX-R600 Suzukis are also eligible in Daytona Sportbike and SuperSport. UPDATE: FIRST PERSON/OPINION: Via e-mail: In response to the following post; https://www.roadracingworld.com/news/article/?article=35321 I would like to assure your readers that Penske Racing Shocks has already submitted the homologation package to the AMA Pro Racing for approval. We are confident that our line of shocks as well as our fork products will be listed in the very near future. We are currently building AMA Spec shocks for our riders and teams and have a complete inventory of Shocks and Forks, including Gas Cartridges. Thank you, Mike Himmelsbach Penske Racing Shocks
