More On Miller Motorsports Park Winning The 2008 World Superbike Organizer Of The Year Award

TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (December 23, 2008) “” Miller Motorsports Park is honored to have been named the recipient of the 2008 World Superbike Organizer Award from the FGS Organization, the operator of the HANNspree FIM Superbike World Championship. Miller Motorsports Park hosted the return of the HANNspree FIM World Superbike Championship to North America over the weekend of May 29 June 1, 2008. The HANNspree FIM Superbike World Championship is the world’s third-largest racing series; events are broadcast live on 95 networks in 173 countries around the world to an estimated viewing audience of 120 million. The HANNspree FIM Superbike World Championship StriVectin-SD USA Round presented by HANNspree was the biggest event in the three-year history of Miller Motorsports Park, attracting record crowds and international attention. In a congratulatory letter, Paolo Flammini, CEO of the FGS Organization, said, “It is a wonderful achievement for any circuit to win this award, but it is exceptional to win it after only one year of collaboration with FGS Organization. In such a short period of time, Miller Motorsports Park succeeded in putting on one of the best-organised and most successful events of the entire championship, well up to the standards required for World Superbike championship level.
