RaceBikeRentals.com Expands Service, Offers Ninja 250R Race Bike Rentals for 2009 AFM, WERA West and WSMC Events MORRO BAY, CALIFORNIA (December 17, 2008) RaceBikeRentals.com has announced plans to offer its rental fleet of Ninja 250Rs to support all rounds of the American Federation of Motorcyclists (AFM) and Western Eastern Road Racing Association West (WERA West) series in 2009, in addition to all Willow Springs Motorcycle Club (WSMC) events. “The race bike rental program has become very popular,” explains Richard Barnett, owner of RaceBikeRentals.com. “Both new and experienced riders love the idea of being able to rent a motorcycle, especially a Ninja 250R, which offers a very affordable, safe platform for racing. We have greatly expanded our 2009 plans, due to the tremendous success of the rental program in 2008 with the Willow Springs Motorcycle Club (WSMC).” In an effort to better support other motorcycle racing clubs and tracks throughout the Western U.S., the company has relocated to the central California coast area. RaceBikeRentals has had sold-out weekends every weekend at WSMC events. They have also featured guest riders such as American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) regulars Jason Curtis and Jeff Tigert, as well as former WSMC #1 plate-holder Kenny Kopecky. The starting grid for the new class reached 15 bikes at the WSMC finale in November, 2008. Barnett expects grids at 2009 events to be even larger. “This affordable, fun, safe class has really resonated with both new and experienced motorcycle racers, especially in these tough economic times,” says Barnett. “Our finishes are often characterized by the top five bikes finishing within a second of each other.
