The Cycle World International Motorcycle Show (IMS) will be returning to Long Beach, Calif. from December 5-7, 2008. Kawasaki will be offering show attendees a wide selection of activities while also displaying its complete motorcycle line. The company will also show select models from its other product categories. To help underprivileged Southern California children experience the joy of the holiday season, Kawasaki will be participating in the Firefighter’s Spark of Love and ToyRide.org toy drives. Attendees who bring a new, unwrapped toy or sporting good to the Kawasaki Demo Ride area will receive $5 off their admission to the show. Kawasaki will deliver all items to the Spark of Love Toy Drive for Los Angeles foster children, or ToyRide.org, benefiting area children in need. In addition to collecting donations from IMS attendees, Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. will also be contributing over 140 Kawasaki-branded items, including bicycles, toys, video games and musical instruments. Well-known Kawasaki sponsored street stunt rider, 2Wheel Tuner magazine editor and SPEED TV personality, Jason Britton, will see his brand-new Custom Sportbike Concepts (CSC) Kawasaki Ninja® ZX™-14 make its debut in Long Beach. Built by Nick Anglada at CSC, this stylish new machine will be unveiled to the media on Friday morning and displayed for the public throughout the show. Britton and Anglada will team for a presentation on their new ZX-14 at 1:00pm Saturday in the Hub presentation area. Throughout the weekend, visitors to the Kawasaki display will have chances to meet their favorite star riders, like street stunt competitor Jason Britton and a host of Monster Energy Kawasaki racers, including AMA Supercross and Motocross hero Timmy Ferry, three-time AMA Motocross Lites Champion Ryan Villopoto, AMA drag bike superstar Rickey Gadson, 2008 AMA Racing Athlete of the Year and EnduroCross Champion Ricky Dietrich, and 2008 AMA Racing Sportsman of the Year and five-time Hare & Hound Champion Destry Abbott.
