Yamaha will field Josh Hayes and Ben Bostrom in American Superbike and Josh Herrin and Tommy Aquino in Daytona Sportbike, and all four will compete in the 2009 Daytona 200! Hayes and Bostrom will compete on board the new “long-bang” YZF-R1 and Young Guns Herrin and Aquino will ride YZF-R6 racebikes. Herrin and Aquino will not compete in the age-restricted Supersport class. Yamaha is the first factory team to commit to the new AMA Pro Racing as run by DMG. More to follow.
