Sussex, WI (November 4, 2008) – The Red Flag Fund recently launched a search for a new fund manager/operator. Founder and President Jeff Kufalk, along with co-founder and Secretary/Treasurer Jen Kufalk, will resign their positions with the Red Flag Fund at the end of 2008. The Kufalks have managed most of the day-to-day operations of the Red Flag Fund since its inception in late 2006 to benefit seriously injured motorcycle road racers. “Establishing and managing the Red Flag Fund has been an amazing experience,” said Red Flag Fund President Jeff Kufalk. “But Jen and I have had a tremendously overwhelming year personally, and we need to take time to focus on our family. We want nothing but the best for the Red Flag Fund and feel that our stepping down is not only the best thing for our family but also for the Fund itself. We want to thank the Red Flag Fund board of directors and all of our generous sponsors, donors and volunteers for their support of the Fund.” The Red Flag Fund board of directors is in the process of interviewing potential candidates and plans to have new management in place by year end when the Kufalks step down. Red Flag Fund, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable company formed to provide financial assistance to seriously injured motorcycle road racers, as well as educate motorcycle riders on the importance of proper safety gear.
