SUNOCO NAMED OFFICIAL FUEL OF AMA ROAD RACING DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (October 24, 2008) AMA Pro Racing today announced that Sunoco has been chosen as the fuel of AMA Road Racing. Sunoco 260 GTX unleaded racing fuel, which contains no oxygenates and no metallic additives, will be used in all of the series’ classes, including American Superbike, Daytona SportBike, SunTrust MOTO-GT and SuperSport. “We are extremely honored to have been selected as the Official Fuel of AMA Road Racing,” said Rob Marro, Sunoco General Manager of Performance Products and Automotive Events, in announcing the three year agreement. “We look forward to playing an integral role as AMA Pro Racing executes its vision for professional motorcycle racing in the U.S.” Sunoco will be supporting the series in both commercial and technical areas.
