WERA’s Grand National Finals And The Suzuki Cup Finals Happening Next Weekend At Road Atlanta

Starting on October 8th at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia this nation’s baddest motorcycle road racers will gather to see who is the best in the U.S. The WERA Grand National Finals and Suzuki Cup Series Finals presented by Lockhart-Phillips come into Road Atlanta with 31 Champions to be crowned in a winner-take-all Pirelli Sportsman Series; 13 Vintage Champions and the final rounds of the Bridgestone/WERA National Endurance Series and Michelin/WERA National Sprints and last but not least the 2008 Suzuki Cup Series Finals. Special this year will be the inaugural WERA/Roadracingworld.com Young Gun Championship Award going to the highest-finishing rider age 19 or under and who does not have an AMA Pro License in the Pirelli Sportsman C Superstock Final. Two awards banquets will be held at the track, the first one Thursday night for all those Champions crowned on Thursday and then again on Sunday night for the remainder of the Championship awards. Friday night there will be a special benefit dinner with collected funds to be divided between the Air Fence Fund and Fritz Kling Benefit Fund. The menu will be a Low Country Boil done by our racing chef, Danny Arturo. The GNF has always been the event where those who will go on to bigger and better racing shine. Invitations to this event are coveted by riders and this event brings the cream of the crop to the top. Don’t miss it spectator tickets will be available at the gate all weekend.
