Date for Inaugural Race at the “New” Moroso Motorsports Park (Re-set) The “new” Moroso Motorsports Park will re-open on November 1-2 with a CCS/Florida race weekend. This will be the inaugural event on the all new road course. The original date (October 4-5) had to be moved, as the track would not be ready in time. CCS/Florida President Henry DeGouw met with track Vice President Aaron Weiss today and was given the go-ahead for staging the event. The new two-mile, 11-turn road course will feature lighting for night races in 2009. DeGouw has stated that he will be running night races next year if testing proves to be positive.
