Pebble Beach, CA)- Hardcard Holdings announces today that three-time AMA Champion (2003 AMA Superstock, 2006 and 2007 Formula Xtreme Champion) Josh Hayes has signed with Hardcard for management representation for international racing opportunities. “I want to be a World Superbike Champion,” says Hayes. “I’ve always thought the progression would be win the AMA support class championships, the AMA Superbike championship, and then go after the world championships. Unique circumstances have kept me from getting a factory Superbike ride in the U.S. and now it looks like that class, as it has been known, is gone. Hardcard’s Murph has the contacts in the World Superbike paddock that will help connect me with a good ride, and allow me to prove myself in Europe. We’re talking with the World Superbike teams and working on my 2009 plans right now.” “Josh Hayes has earned a top superbike ride. He can run with the best racers in the world and deserves a legitimate shot of achieving his goal of being a World Champion,” states Murph. “Josh is a victim of his own success. He became such a valuable 600cc sales tool that he was bypassed for Superbike rides. We want to change that. We’re working on a program that will allow Josh to showcase his abilities in World Superbike.” Josh will continue to work with long-time manager Gina Nadeau for opportunities in the AMA series while Hardcard will represent him on all international racing endeavors. About Josh Hayes Born April 4, 1975 in Gulfport, Mississippi, Josh began racing in 1994 in the competitive WERA Southeast region. In 1999 Hayes began racing professionally in the AMA series and won the Daytona 750 Superstock race. In 2003 he became champion of that class and has just come off of back-to-back Formula Xtreme championships in 2006 and 2007.
