The FIM is pleased to inform that the French & Spanish translations of the Initial Rider Training Programme (IRT) are now available from the FIM Website by clicking on the following link: ~http://www.fim.ch/en/default.asp?item=53&o=/EN/flat/CMT/IRT/IRT.htm~ This programme, developed through the IRT Project, was jointly funded by the Directorate-General for Energy and Transport of the European Commission, the Federation of European Motorcyclists’ Associations (FEMA), the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), the Association des Constructeurs Europeans de Motocycles (ACEM) and Vägverket, the Swedish national road traffic authority. As well as being a financial partner, the FIM was also fully involved in the execution of this project. This basic programme is a tool to improve motorcycle safety on a global level. The FIM has financed its translation in order to have a broader spreading of this programme.
