Murrieta, Ca. – July 14, 2008 – Pilot USA is proud to announce a new leather and clothing sponsorship for Doug Polen’s 1ON1 Rider’s School. In conjunction, Pilot will also be the official supplier of leathers for Doug’s racing efforts, including the MOTO-ST series. Polen is a two time World Superbike Champion (1991-1992) and AMA Superbike Champion (1993). He also achieved the Endurance World Championship in 1997 and 1998. His sportbike training school – 1ON1 Rider’s School – has classes at Buttonwillow, Laguna Seca and Infineon throughout the year, plus offers instruction at various Track Day events. “I’ve worn leathers from every top level company from all over the world,” Polen said. “The quality, fit and protection of Pilot’s suits is the BEST I’ve seen in my 31 years of racing.
