Vesrah Suzuki Wins WERA 6-Hour At Summit Point

Vesrah Suzuki’s Tray Batey and John Jacobi won round seven of the Bridgestone WERA National Endurance series, a six-hour event at Summit Point Raceway in Summit Point, West Virginia, riding a Suzuki GSX-R1000 on Pirelli tires. Brand X’s Ben Walters and Brett Champagne took second overall and second in the Heavyweight Superbike class aboard a Michelin-shod Yamaha YZF-R1, two laps behind the leaders.

Dalke Motorsports’ Dane Westby and Dustin Meador rode their Pirelli-equipped Yamaha YZF-R6 to third overall and first in the Middleweight Superstock class.

Velocity Crew Racing took fourth overall and first in the Middleweight Superbike class, 26.3 seconds ahead of Wikle Racing.

Ghetto Customs topped the Lightweight Superbike class at 14th overall.
