After missing the first two rounds in the AMA Motocross Series, he is in 15th overall. He finished 9th overall in the Lites East Supercross series. He is currently 4th overall in the Superstock class and 5th overall in the Supersport class. His best results in 2008 have been in Superstock where he won at Elkhart Lake and placed second at Daytona. This upcoming weekend all the teams will be there to race on one of the top racetracks in the country. Although you would never know it from the name, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is host to a number of motorcycle events throughout the year. They are one of the few facilities with a full motocross track on site and they just finished their big vintage motorcycle race weekend. www.midohio.com Tara Geiger, Motocross Racer – Yamaha Red Bull sponsored rider, Tara Geiger had a solid weekend at Washougal taking a 5th and a 3rd for 3rd overall. She is sitting in 4th place in the AMA/WMA Women’s National Motocross Championships. We catch up with Tara as she prepares for the Moto X event at the Summer X Games 14 this weekend.
