Paolo Flammini, CEO of FGSport, declared: “We are delighted to have signed this agreement with such a prestigious partner. Meccaniche Veloci joins the Superbike World Championship and becomes “Official Timing Sponsor” at a particularly positive moment, with the championship showing major growth and an increasingly large and significant participation by manufacturers, teams and riders. We are sure that the new partnership, which also envisages the production of a special limited-edition watch with the SBK logo, will be a great success”. Marco Colombo, Managing Director of Meccaniche Veloci, added: “It’s a great honour for us to take part as Official Timing Sponsor in the Superbike World Championship, which we have followed enthusiastically for some time now, and which lets us experience a true battle of the giants, with manufacturers, teams and riders all involved at the maximum level on the world’s best circuits. It is the passion for engines and engineering that has united us in what will surely be a truly fantastic venture”. Meccaniche Veloci was born from an idea: to build a prestigious and unusual watch inspired by the piston of a four-stroke engine. Quattro Valvole. Four Valves. From here comes the idea of four time zones. Made in Italy with high quality Swiss moving parts, the Quattro Valvole is a watch that is synonymous with exclusiveness, extracted from one piece and in some versions it uses the same hardening processes and treatments as top-performance racing engines. Technique representing engineering art. Meccaniche Veloci watches are Made in Italy and can be purchased exclusively at selected outlets. For further information: www.meccanicheveloci.it
