Riders For Health Auction Thursday At Laguna Seca To Feature MotoGP Stars, Free Admission And Parking

Riders for Health Chief Executive Andrea Coleman has announced that numerous stars from the Grand Prix world will be in attendance this Thursday at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for its Live MotoGP Auction. In addition to this year’s Guest of Honor Wayne Rainey and Riders for Health co-founder Randy Mamola, the list of those who have confirmed their intent to attend include Marco Melandri, James Toseland, Colin Edwards, Ben Spies, Randy de Puniet, Toni Elias, Sylvain Guintoli and Kevin Schwantz. Additionally, Dean Miller and Herve Poncheral will do talks about Paddock life. The live auction of motorcycle memorabilia to raise funds for Riders for Health programs in Africa include Nicky Hayden-signed memorabilia, VIP passes to the Yamaha party at the Monterey Aquarium, Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix poster autographed by the Yamaha Weekend of Champions, VIP passes to the Legends of Laguna Seca induction party honoring Eddie Lawson and Kenny Roberts, Ducati-autographed merchandise, Bill Patterson Live Art demonstration and more… The Live Auction starts at 4:00 P.M. at Riders for Health Turn 4 Hospitality Suite near the Paddock and is free and open to the public. Free parking access via South Boundary Road only. Note that additional MotoGP riders not named could attend, and also that changes in plans could result in some riders listed above not being able to attend.
