Final qualifying Jerez de la Frontera, Round 3, Spanish 1000cc Formula Extreme Championship Front Row for Noyes at Jerez American Kenny Noyes took his Motorrad Suzuki GSX-R 1000 to a front row start for the third round of the Spanish 1000cc Formula Extreme Championship in Jerez de la Frontera. The pole went to Carmelo Morales, L’Oreal Laglisse Yamaha with Morales´ Javier del Amor second and former MotoGP regular Jose Luis Cardoso third. “I used both qualifying tires in the morning session because I knew the track would be too hot to improve in the afternoon. I had a good pace of low 45s when we were here a week ago but I was running high 45s on race tires today. In the afternoon I decided to go back to the same softer tire that I used in the tests last week. I know the tire is good for 14 laps so it should be good for the 17 lap race distance,” said Noyes Sergio Fuertes on the second Motorrad Suzuki will start ninth from the third row for Sunday’s race.
