Vesrah Suzuki Wins WERA 6-Hour At Miller Motorsports Park

Vesrah Suzuki’s Tray Batey and John Jacobi won the fourth round of the 2008 Bridgestone National Endurance Series, a 6-hour event held at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah. It was the 62nd overall race win for Vesrah Suzuki in the National Endurance Series.

Vesrah Suzuki took the lead from the drop of the green flag and Brand X Yamaha gave chase, staying on the lead lap through the three-hour mark. The three-rider team of Ben Walters, Brett Champagne and Tripp Nobles ended up second overall, two laps behind Vesrah Suzuki at the end of the six hours.

Team Velocity Racing brought its Yamaha YZF-R1 home in third overall, finishing six laps behind the leaders and winning in the Heavyweight Superstock class by five laps over Twin Works Factory 1. One lap behind Team Velocity Racing came the Mediumweight Superstock class winners, Dalke Motorsports.

Rounding out the top five overall with a victory in the Mediumweight Superbike class was the local team of Salt Lake Motorsports 1 on a Ducati 848.

The Lightweight Superbike class win went to Pineapple Mafia, taking a five-lap victory over Code 4 Racing II.
