FIM Endurance World Championship Hires Transportation Carrier

Agreement between the FIM and Impeco Official carrier for the Qtel FIM Endurance World Championship The FIM and the Italian company Impeco S.p.A. signed an agreement naming Impeco as the official carrier company for the Qtel FIM Endurance World Championship. The agreement concerns the transport of material of the permanent teams taking part in the Qtel FIM Endurance World Championship events held out of Europe: the Suzuka 8 Hours in Japan on July 27, and the 8 Hours of Doha in Qatar on 8 November 2008. Mr Pier Carlo Bottero, Managing Director of Impeco, said: “The Endurance World Championship is one of the most fascinating motorcycle Championships, where technique and reliability are extremely important elements for reaching the final victory. We are proud and honoured to be the FIM’s partner for the logistic management in this ambitious project.” Mr Guy Maitre, FIM CEO, declared: “We are delighted to secure Impeco as the Official Carrier company for the Qtel FIM Endurance World Championship.
