EDR Performance’s Dan Wilson sets new track record at Portland International Raceway for OMRRA!

Dan Wilson riding his EDR Performance built Hillsboro Motosport GSXR1000 with Dunlop Slicks set the new PIR track record. Dan, who had the previous fastest lap time for a OMRRA member at 1:06.3, set a new lap record of 1:07.08 on the newly repaved and reconfigured track record for OMRRA during this weekends opening round or racing.

Dan a multiple class champion set off in the lead of a tight first few laps of Open Superbike on sunday under sunny and mild temperatures. After seeing the pit board on lap 3 showing he had only a +1 gap, he put his head down and ran several fastest laps of the day, but lap 9 he had a significant lead and eased up. At the end Dan said “Man, the BPD Traction control is really helpful for us this season on the back straight…and the new N-tech slicks from Dunlop are amazing! My last year build EDR motor is still the one to catch but i think we got another 1/2-1 second in us for next round, i really wasnt pushing that hard today”
