Andrea Dovizioso is one of Italy’s rising stars and now that the 22-year-old from Forlì is racing in the premier class of MotoGP, this has increased the popularity and profile of the former 125cc GP champion. To please his many fans and help satisfy the increasing requests for media information that he has, ‘Dovi’ has decided to rework his website and refresh it with a new graphical concept. Thanks to the support of one of his sponsors Red Bull they have been able to stimulate his maximum creativity and help give the site a fresh, young new-look. Andrea himself decided that the style of the website should reflect the young, youthful and cool look from urban graffiti murals which cover walls in cities across Europe. “Looking at my website, this is a graphic expression I like a lot,” explains Andrea. “This is why I also painted the small truck I used to carry around my motocross motorcycles like this. My website has all my personal symbols and logos on it, including ‘Dovi’ and my number, which is the number four. Obviously the website also includes the ‘Little Dragon’, which is the nickname that my mechanics gave me some years ago. The funny thing is that the dragon is not always the same, he has four very different expressions, depending on how I am feeling, including: happy, just-‘OK’, one aggressive and one angry! Every time you log on you will find a different one, depending on my mood at the time especially before the start of a race!” Together with the graphic interface and with a young and aggressive look, the website also is a multi-media platform, bringing in some brand-new ideas as well as being a powerful database, featuring a lot of content as well as daily updates, news, championship rankings, race results, race-by-race press releases, comments and features. You will also find personal info on Andrea such as his bio, his career and all the information on the JiR Team Scot squad. Results are also on the site, as well as a section dedicated to the media, along with a photo gallery and an audio/visual area, so you can listen and watch Andrea in action and in interviews, as well as read articles from the press clippings gallery.
