This is an admittedly blurry photo of the partially disassembled Honda CBR600RR engine used by Josh Hayes in the Daytona 200 on March 8. Despite the blur, it is obvious that the crankshaft is very shiny compared to a standard crankshaft. The photo was taken during post-race technical inspection from the Fan Zone through one of the viewing portals built into the technical inspection building at Daytona International Speedway.
