Website Established For Fans Of Upcoming Red Bull Indianapolis GP

From a press release issued by Indianapolis Motor Speedway: INDIANAPOLIS The new event Web site for the inaugural Red Bull Indianapolis GP will build an online community for motorcycle enthusiasts and provide complete news and ticket information about the MotoGP event Sept. 12-14 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Fans and riders are encouraged to visit www.redbullindianapolisgp.com and contribute to the numerous free Community features in the site, including fan-submitted photos and bike paint schemes, and reader feedback. A variety of other interactive features, including blogs and video features, are available or will be introduced soon. “We want our new Red Bull Indianapolis GP Web site to be the leading spot for motorcyclists and motorcycle racing fans worldwide to gather every day online,” said Joie Chitwood, IMS president and chief operating officer. “The new site will have all of the news and information about the race that our fans have come to expect from all IMS Web sites, including some of it presented in fresh, new ways like blogs and original video content.” News about the Red Bull Indianapolis GP and MotoGP, including recaps from major test sessions and races, will be regularly posted at the site. Also available are MotoGP entry lists, team rosters and rider bios, the Red Bull Indianapolis GP event schedule and the 2008 MotoGP event schedule, event information such as driving directions, hotel accommodations and IMS guidelines, and the IMS Online Store. Red Bull Indianapolis GP tickets: Tickets are on sale for the inaugural Red Bull Indianapolis GP on Sept. 14, 2008. Tickets can be purchased either online at www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com at any time; on the phone by calling (800) 822-INDY outside the Indianapolis area or (317) 492-6700 locally between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday; or visiting the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Ticket Office on the first floor of the IMS Administration Building at 4790 W. 16th St. in Indianapolis from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. All tickets for this event are three-day tickets, with both reserved and general admission seating available.
