BMW plans to enter the 2008 Superbike World Championship with Alex Hofmann riding a new 1000cc four-cylinder racebike. That’s the word from German sources close to the company. Hofmann recently lost his MotoGP ride with d’Antin Ducati. More information will follow as it becomes available.
