Femmoto, the Oct 4-7 track and demo event dedicated to the female riding enthusiast is on track for another sell-out in 2007. With one novice group already sold out, others are filling up quickly. The addition of street demos, the Kawasaki dirt bike school, and Motorcycle Safety Foundation beginner and experienced riding classes have created more opportunities to learn and ride more products than ever. “We are not surprised that we sold out one of our novice groups already,” says Femmoto Director Bonnie Strawser. “With so many women coming into the motorcycle world, they want to try the latest machine before they decide what to buy. This year the street demos will help keep everybody busy, even when on-track sessions have filled up. We also want to remind everybody that men can register for the Thursday Riders of Kawasaki track day (on any brand) and the Friday track day (divided into three skill levels) and they can participate in the street demos as well.” Femmoto has supported the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation for the past several years, donating a total of $21,78200. An exciting addition for 2007 that will benefit the Foundation is the offering of a genuine Valentino Rossi autographed AGV helmet. All the proceeds of the sale will go directly to the Foundation, with a check being presented on Saturday night at the scheduled Femmoto Banquet at the Neon Garage in the Las Vegas motor Speedway . Femmoto started as a female-only track and demo day, allowing women of all skill levels to try some of the newest machines on the neutral and safe environment of a race track. The event has grown to include participation for several manufacturers including, Kawasaki , Buell, Aprilia, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, KYMCO, Honda, Suzuki, and Hyosung. The program has found a home at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and has grown to 2 days of on-track demos, three days of street demos, MSF dirt and street schools, two track-days, and new for 2007 street-based demos. Male riders have a place as well, and can participate in the track and street demos when accompanied by a Femmoto participant.
