Shawn Higbee will be back on the RMR / Daytona H.D. Buell at the Suntrust 8 hours at Daytona race. Dave Estok will also join Dan Bilansky and Clint Brotz to round out a 4 rider team. Higbee, who was seriously injured at Iowa Speedway on July 14th, has progressed much faster than expected. “A month ago I would have never dreamed of having this conversation. I truly felt Shawn would be out until next season. He is tough and determined, so I have to admire that. It is great news for the team and Higbee fans” stated Morris. RMR / Daytona H.D. Buell also announced that recently crowned Thunderbike champion Dave Estok would join the team for the Suntrust 8 hours. Dave and I have been trying to put something together for some time now. It just never quite worked out. So I am extremely happy to have him for the finale. The whole team agreed having 4 riders for an 8 hour race was the wise choice. The fact that all of them are past and current champions makes it that much sweeter” Morris added. The Moto-ST GST class championship will be decided at Daytona. The RMR / Daytona H.D. Buell team leads the points by a slim margin over Touring Sport Ducati and James Gang Racing Buell.
