Mike Smith will test with the Richie Morris Racing/Daytona H.D. Buell team this weekend at Blackhawk Farms. The team will be running the ASRA Team Challenge and selected CCS races in preparation for the upcoming Suntrust MOTO-ST event at Daytona International Speedway. Clint Brotz will also be riding along with regular pilot Dan Bilansky. “We need three riders for Daytona,” stated Team Owner Richie Morris. “Shawn Higbee is getting better everyday. I am sure you will see him with the team in October. I think it might be pushing it to have him on the bike, but it is not out of the question. We are looking forward to next year and having Shawn on the new Buell 1125, so we don’t want to rush things. Mike and I have been in touch all season and I am excited to have him test the bike.
