BSB’s Hawk Colchester Kawasaki And Hickman Part Ways, Haydon To Finish Season

Hawk Colchester Kawasaki and Peter Hickman have decided to part company after a mutual and amicable decision was reached between Team Owner Stuart Hicken and Peter Hickman. Stuart Hicken commented “Peter has had a long relationship with Hawk Kawasaki and we wish him the very best in the future.” Alex Camier who has been riding the Hawk Supersport bike at the two previous meetings will step up to replace Peter at Croft in the Superbike Class, with David Hallett moving into the Supersport Cup from the Superstock Cup. After a very successful test at Mallory Park last Wednesday, August 1st, James Haydon will make his debut for the Hawk Colchester Kawasaki Team at Cadwell. He will ride for the team for the remaining three rounds of the British Superbike Championship commencing at Cadwell Park on the 25th 27th August. Haydon will ride the Hawk ZX10-R as team mate to Scott Smart.
